Account → Segment Mapping
Set the default segment for each connected bank/card. New transactions auto-tag with this segment unless a category-rule overrides.
Categories
Delete removes a category and untags its transactions (they go back to uncategorized); any rules using it are removed too.
Category Rules — pattern → segment/category override
Example: CHAMP → Consulting tags any deposit containing "CHAMP" to your Consulting segment, regardless of which account it landed in.
Segment Order & Visibility
Drag rows to reorder. Toggle Active to hide a segment from the dashboard (its transactions are still tracked).
Recurring Adjustments — monthly auto-entries
First-class recurring entries (e.g. AMEX dispute carry-forward, TA Consulting placeholder). Materialized daily via cron. Pause one by toggling Active; end one by setting an End date.
24-Month Backfill / Reconciliation — compare Plaid history to DB
Run a read-only reconciliation across active accounts. Surfaces Plaid-only rows (missing from DB) for review. Use Approve & import to fill gaps for a specific account/window.
Import Venmo statement
resale & other Venmo incomeIn the Venmo app or web: Settings → Statement, pick a date range, download the CSV, then upload it here. Money you received imports as Resale income; money you sent as expense. Re-importing the same file is safe — duplicates are skipped. Recategorize or exclude anything that isn't a sale afterward.
Migrate from legacy /finance/
One-time import of transactions you already have in localStorage from the original /finance/ dashboard.
